From NYT story about a NJ cop who went on a shooting rampage:<p>The neighbors described Mr. Lutes [as] uptight and unpleasant but fiercely devoted to tending his lawn. <p>*Well, it's a damn sight better than "quiet and kept to himself."*

Hey, now--my next-door neighbor (who owns his own landscaping biz) has the BEST lawn and he's a heckuva nice guy. And far from quiet. Must be a fluke.

I'm worried. I live in an apartment complex with no lawn. How am I gonna know when one of my neighbors is about to go on a killing spree?

Oh, don't worry... they're saving up to buy a house in the neighborhood where they will develop strange obsessions with shrubs and then go on killing sprees.
