Possibly the most groan-worthy (or groin-worthy) phrase I've seen in some time came a few months ago from Ron C. Judd, a sports columnist with The Seattle Times. In writing a 2002 Winter Olympics wrap-up column, he pithily opined:<p>"Speedskater Apolo Ohno and his soul patch came along at a time when our nation's soul was most in need of patching."<p>I think there are still some countries which still consider this a death-penalty offense ....
