USA	Here's an example of the Chicago Tribune's odd obsessive need to tinker with quotes.<p>Here's how AP reported Kerry Wood's comments after the pitcher was ejected for arguing balls and strikes:<p>"I went in today telling myself not to blow up about anything and I got my first ejection," said Wood, who was unhappy about being pinch-hit for after six innings in his last start. "So that worked well for me." <p> And the Tribune:<p>"I went in today telling myself not to blow up about anything, and I get my first ejection," Wood said. "So that [plan] worked well for me."
