The thread on "stuffing" reminded me that I was surprised recently to see "fuckedcompany.com" spelled out in the Economist. I'm curious to learn how other publications handle this web site name. Anybody know of examples?

At the Houston Chronicle, we haven't run the name, just our standard fill-in-the-blank stand-in for "inappropriate" words. Newsweek did the same thing, as I recall.

Most of the references to FC that I've seen have been in the financial/tech press and pretty much all have resorted to some sorta "wink wink nudge nudge" reference to the site with the understanding that everybody knows who they're talking about.

For the squeamish among us, fuckedcompany.com has a bowdlerized URL available; http://www.f---edcompany.com.<p>More to the topic, I've seen "fuck" used in quotes on occasion in The Montreal Gazette.
