Regulars will recall my announcement of Dec. 13, 2001:<p>To all my friends and colleagues who are convinced that I am unambitious, I take pleasure in announcing that I have settled on a mission. I swear that before I'm finished, I will overturn the style rule that prohibits using a numeral at the beginning of a sentence.<p>Infused with new energy, I am happy to add two more missions to my life's work. I swear that I will put a stop to the use of plural possessives in headlines. I also will make sure that all numbers in headlines are expressed as numerals, not words.<p>In other words, no more "Two Counties' Police Forces Accused of Brutality"
