Joined: Sun Apr 07, 2002 1:01 am Posts: 8342 Location: Bethesda, Md.	The Pulitzer Prizes were awarded today to the New York Times, the Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal. There also was a report that a West Coast newspaper got a prize for feature writing, but that must be an error.<p>In another apparent error, Thomas Friedman got a Pulitzer for “his clarity of vision.” Next thing you know, they’ll give a Pulitzer to Maureen Dowd.

Ricks, Karen DeYoung, Susan Schmidt and Walter Pincus. Woodward credited many of his colleagues for the national reporting prize, including Lenny Bernstein, a national editor.<p>"I always feel uncomfortable working on a big story without a Bernstein involved," he joked, referring to his former Watergate partner.<p>***Who said Woodward doesn't have a sense of humor?***
