FREEMAN ISLAND STATE PARK, Wash. (AP) — Two Canadian naval ships worked overnight and through Monday, trying to pin down the location of a small plane that crashed and sank north of the San Juans and a missing 9-year-old girl. Three members of the family aboard the plane were rescued after it went down Saturday in 300 to 500 feet of water north of Orcas Island near tiny Freeman Island State Park. One girl, whose twin was rescued along with their parents, was still missing as darkness fell Monday. The Coast Guard identified the girls' parents as Dr. Michael D. Triplett and his wife, Terri Ann. The missing daughter was 9-year-old Cheney G. and the surviving daughter was 7-year-old Jennalise N., the San Juan County sheriff's office said.<p>*** That must have been the most difficult birth of twins in recorded history.
