Chicago Sun-Times editors Joycelyn Winnecke and Bill Adee resigned Thursday to jump to the rival Chicago Tribune. Winnecke, 40, managing editor of the paper since 1999, will be associate managing editor for national news at the Tribune--a new post. Her husband, Adee, 37, the Sun-Times sports editor for nine years, will be sports editor/news. Winnecke will manage the Tribune's five national bureaus, including Washington, D.C.
