Strewn about the wire copy (and also showing up locally) is this insipid use of the word:<p>three-month anniversary<p>Thank god we're far enough out from 9/11 that we didn't get a "nine-month aniversary" story today. Also, some seem to think that anniversary somehow dropped its annum at some point, giving us "one-year anniversary."<p>Ugh.<p></rant>

Pete, most people have memorized the archives by their five-day anniversary as a Testy Copy Editor.
