Cutline info brought to you by Cpl. Paul Jarvis:<p>"A British armored fighting vehicle is guided over a bridge by a member of the Royal Engineers of 39 Engineer Squadron as the vehicle crosses an earth obstacle on the Kuwaiti side of the Iraq boarder Friday. The breach of the earth obstacle was part of an effort to clear the way for British troops to enter Iraq."<p>By looking at the picture and reading the story, you see that what the military calls an "earth obstacle" the rest of us save valuble breath calling a "hill." Similarly, if I were in a tank and about to meet an "earth obstacle" i'd appreciate knowing if it were a 14-foot sand dune or a 200-foot chasm.
