Sales of the drug topped $370 million last year.
-- from USN&WR's April 26 cover story.
That's certainly a lot of money, but it's meaningless since we don't know how many prescriptions for Strattera were prescribed in 2003 or how much the A.D.D. drug costs. It's like saying "Todd Helton hit .358 last year" to someone who knows nothing about baseball.
(I'm not singling out USN&WR. Everybody does this. OK, Susan? :::grin:: :)
While I'm thinking of it, isn't it also rather pointless to rank movies by their box-office numbers? I read awhile back that "Gone With The Wind" would've grossed more than $1 billion at modern theater prices, so it's all relative.
