Presented without comment from today's "Book Babes" feature from Poynter, re: Joseph Wilson's "The Politics of Truth: Inside the Lies that Led to War and Betrayed My Wife's CIA Identity."<p>"As for the issue of blowing Wilson's wife's cover, how does Robert Novak justify reporting Valerie Plame's identity without considering its implications? Wilson claims that six journalists got the same tip, but only Novak repeated it, "slavishly doing the bidding of the cowards in the administration who had decided that the only way to discredit me was to betray national security." It's hard to believe a Washington veteran of Novak's rank has never heard of the Intelligence Identities Protection Act. Aren't journalists trained to self-edit before they type?"<p>[ May 06, 2004: Message edited by: majorbabs ]<p>[ May 06, 2004: Message edited by: majorbabs ]</p>
